About this Blog


 When my oldest daughter began her freshman year in high school, I started a home-ec curriculum to teach her and my other children about health, nutrition, and how to cook healthful foods.   I  wanted them to be aware of the deceitfulness in today's thinking about health and nutrition and to teach about health from the Word of God. 

I also wanted something that was easy to use, organized, and student-directed. 
Today that curriculum is in print for others to learn from as well.

This blog was created to supplement the book.


If you are already a student about to begin Healthy Home Ec, I welcome you! As you work through this year's curriculum, you will be able to get helpful photo instruction by accessing this blog.

 This blog is designed to help you on a personal level with developing your culinary skills in the kitchen by being able to actually see the procedure, not just read about it.
