*Sports parties are always fun to have with a group of people,
whether you are a player who invites your friends over after a game,
or a spectator who gets together with their friends to watch a game with them on tv.
Either way, it's a great way to fellowship with others.
You can double this recipe if you are planning such a get-together.
Gather your supplies and ingredients together
after reading today's lesson.
Remember to start this recipe either the day before
or at least 6 hours before you want to eat it.
It doesn't take long to make,
but cooks in the crockpot for a long time.
(I used Spike instead of Mrs. Dash. Either one is fine.)
Follow step 1 in the procedure on page 135.
Follow steps 2 - 9:
Be careful when dicing hot peppers
not to touch anything with your hand that touched the pepper,
especially your eyes.
Wash your hands well before and after dicing your vegetables.
Set a timer for each step,
steps 4-8.
The finished product:
Top with diced onions or sour cream,
or any other condiments you like
such as corn chips, shredded cheese, or crackers.
Corn chips, shredded cheese, and hot sauce:
You could also serve this meal with a fresh vegetable tray.
Go Blue!
