Week 2 - Day 4


 *Learn about fennel, its uses, and its health benefits in today's lesson in the
Healthy Home Ec book.


We'll also be using fresh basil today.  You've learned about its health benefits in previous lessons.


 Gather your supplies.  You can use penne pasta or rigatoni for this recipe.  



Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces. (Organic is preferred.)


You should always remember to wash your hands well before each lesson; but also remember to wash your hands, the counter, and all your utensils with hot soapy water after touching raw meat.


 Cook as directed in the Healthy Home Ec book.


Slice the fennel as directed.








 Garnish with fresh basil.


 Supper is a time to enjoy each other's company, to fellowship, to build and strengthen relationships, and to learn and grow from each other.  Keep this in mind as you lead your dinner discussion tonight.
